Chesterfied - A Very British Civil War

Recently I've been working on some new terrain and miniatures for A Very British Civil War.
Please have a stroll around the village.

Una volta un bellissimo villaggio.

On show today are some Italy themed terrain pieces I produced last week. I'm building these in anticipation of a new army I'm starting, which is the 5th Gebirgsjager division in Italy. This will also be the start of an early war army, for which I will use the Burning Empires book. I intend to make some more buildings, walls and maybe roads.

H0/TT Church

Behold the newest addition to my flames of war terrain, a H0/TT Church, or more specific, the church of  Börnichen. This is my first building in H0 scale, so it's really a testcase to see how well these buildings scale with 15mm men. In my opinion it looks pretty nice, being an impressive piece of scenery without going over the top.
Next stop: the painting station. I'm going to basecoat the whole thing in black, and then paint it. I'm still pondering how to do the base. I want to do something of a churchyard, but keep the church removable for storage sake. Any ideas are welcome.

I was quite astounded by the amount of modelling work required

Pirates

Hi to All!

In this spot I'll keep you updated on my painting progress, mostly concerning Flames of War, Dystopian Wars, Warhammer, and my (hopefully) soon to arrive Bolt Action miniatures.
But how better to start a blog than with some (Freebooters Fate) pirates!

So 'ere they be: The Irish Brothers.

Next up: The Brotherhood, in stylish purple, with a touch of yellow.

Here 2 pieces of home-made terrain, and a sneakpeak at my work-in-progress 28mm gaming table

If you've got any questions or comments, please post them!

Best,
LJ
